1. This contract is between two parties only – Niche Introductions (hereinafter referred to as NI) and the applying member.

2. NI offers membership to anyone between the ages of 23 and 85, who is unattached and free to form a relationship. NI reserves the right to refuse membership to any person considered unsuitable. In this instance a full refund will be given.

3. All information supplied to NI will be treated in the strictest confidence. All personal details are protected by the Data Protection Act 1998. Only limited details will be given to other members selected by NI as being suitable matches based on the requirements of both parties.

4. NI does not accept membership from anyone who has ever been convicted of a serious crime. In accepting these terms and conditions you are declaring that you have no such record. Anyone in breach of this trust will be struck off the register of NI and no refund of fees given.

5. All information supplied to NI is assumed to be accurate, with no relevant information withheld. NI cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. NI reserves the right to withdraw membership from any member who knowingly provides false or misleading information. Members agree to pay the current registration fee charge for the level of membership for the provision by NI of the services indicated.

6. A high standard of courtesy and respect is expected of members and NI reserves the right to withdraw membership, any feedback to the contrary may result in cancellation of membership.

7. Proof of identity (copy of driving license or passport, plus copy of a utility bill or legal document showing the current home address of the member) is required from all members.

8. NI membership lasts for a period of twelve months plus an extra six months “on hold” period if required. Membership can be put on hold when a relationship is formed through NI or for other personal reasons. Members must inform NI in writing when they wish to put their membership on hold and when they wish to reinstate it within their membership period.

9. NI will endeavour to ensure that all introductions will be to compatible members. NI offers a minimum obligation of six introductions during the membership period. In the majority of cases members do receive many more introductions but if at the end of the membership period NI has been unable to find at least six suitable introductions, then membership can be extended, at no extra cost, until such time as six suitable introductions have been given.

10. At the end of the membership it is the responsibility of the member to inform NI if six suitable introductions have not been received. A suitable introduction is deemed to have been made, when a member has received the details of another member, whose details and requirements, from the information given to NI, are compatible. Many members meet their ideal partner after two or three introductions therefore members may not need their minimum six introductions.

11. When an introduction is made it is the responsibility of the member to make every effort to contact the other party. Continual failure to respond to messages left by another member may result in membership being withdrawn and a proportion of membership fees refunded.

12. It is the responsibility of the member to take the advice given by NI regarding personal safety as NI cannot be held responsible for the actions of its members nor any accident or event arising from an introduction.

13. Whilst every effort will be made by NI to ensure that introductions are made to compatible members, NI cannot guarantee that introductions will result in a meeting or that members will form lasting relationships through the company.

14. If a member wishes to terminate their contract with NI before their membership expires, it is the responsibility of the member to inform NI in writing. Upon receipt of this written request all personal details held by NI, relating to the member, will be deleted.

15. If, at the end of the twelve month contract, a member can justifiably show that NI has not provided the service outlined herein, the member is entitled to request an extension of membership.

16. We will contact you from time to time via email about the service. We may contact you with the details of our other products, services and promotions via email, but only if you have opted in to receive such emails from us.

17. NI will not become involved in any disputes between Members and does not provide any arbitration or settlement services should a dispute arise between members.

18. NI may suspend or terminate the Membership of any Member who violates these Terms and Conditions.

19.A person who is not a party to this Agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to rely upon or enforce any term of this Agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

20. 17. NI will not become involved in any disputes between Members and does not provide any arbitration or settlement services should a dispute arise between members.

21. NI reserves the right to update the terms and conditions of membership at any time.

Your statutory rights are not affected by the above.
